For cosplay, school plays and stage scenes, our props share three traits that matter backstage: they are lightweight plastic, they come apart into three or four sections for transport, and they are handheld lengths of about 28.5 to 33.2 in rather than full-height staffs. Pair a staff, scythe or cane with a face piece such as a long Pinocchio-style nose, a red clown nose or an open-face monkey mask. Before any event, read its prop policy and do a full fitting in costume.

| Vampire or dark sorcerer | Red orb staff | 30.7 in, 2.89 oz | Translucent orb; very light to hold through a scene |
| Pharaoh, serpent ruler or ringmaster | Cobra-head snake cane | about 33.2 in | Pose with it; don't lean on it |
| Grim reaper | Skull or spiral-handle scythe | 32.3–33 in | Carry upright; no swinging |
| Pinocchio | Long nose | 6.29 in, 1.77 in base | Elastic strap, no glue; fixed length |
| Clown or jester | Red clown nose | 1.77 in | String fit; check comfort for long scenes |

| Dragon or demon | Black glitter horn clips | about 1.57 in | Clip into a wig or near the roots |
There is no universal prop rule. Each convention, school and venue writes its own, often covering realistic weapon replicas, length limits, materials, inspection and conduct. Measure your prop assembled, from tip to tip, and carry it apart between venues. Our guide to convention and school prop rules lists what to check before you pack.
On most adults, a 29 to 33 in staff stands about hip to wrist height and reads as a scepter or cane; on a small child it can reach the shoulder and read as a full staff. That makes these props a good fit for school productions with young casts. The wizard staff guide covers length and topper color, and snake cane and cobra staff ideas lists characters for the cobra cane.
The long nose is the quickest way to cast Pinocchio, and the Pinocchio school play guide builds the rest from everyday clothes. A red clown nose and a bright hat cover a circus or comedy scene; see clown costume basics. The felt monkey mask keeps the actor's expressions visible, which matters on stage.

It depends on the event, since each one sets its own prop rules. Our props are lightweight plastic and come apart for carrying, but check the current policy for length, realistic weapon replicas and inspection before you go.
Each one screws apart by hand into three or four sections, so it fits in a costume bag or backstage bin and goes back together without tools.
It stays on with an elastic strap behind the head and needs no glue. Do a trial fitting before the show, because strap pressure varies with head size.
No. They are decorative plastic props with no load capacity. Use them for posing and gestures, not for support.
The blue orb dragon-claw staff reads as a wizard or sorcerer, and the red orb staff reads as a vampire or dark sorcerer. Both are 30.7 in long.
