Will these flower straw toppers fit my straw?

These flower straw toppers fit straight straws that measure 10 mm (0.4 in) across the outside. That measurement matters more than the size of the cup. The covers are listed as compatible with the straws used in Stanley 30 oz and 40 oz tumblers and with other reusable straws of the same 10 mm width. Olen is a third-party maker and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Stanley.

Narrow straws, extra-wide straws, angled tips and some replacement straws can fit differently. If you're not sure, measure before you order.

How do you measure a straw for a 10 mm cover?

1. Lay a ruler across the open end of the straw, or use calipers if you have them.
2. Read the full outside width, including the straw wall. 10 mm is just under 0.4 in, slightly more than 3/8 in.
3. Check that the straw is straight at the top. A bent or angled end won't sit squarely under the flower.

How do the covers work?

Each flower has a small tether loop. Slide the loop onto the straw, then press the flower cap over the open tip when you're not drinking. To sip, tip the flower to one side; the loop keeps it on the straw so it doesn't end up on the car floor or under your desk.

The cap covers the straw opening and nothing else. It does not lock, it does not seal the cup, and it does not make a straw lid leakproof, so keep the tumbler upright in a bag.

Why three colors?

You get one pink, one white and one green flower. Different colors make it easy to tell whose tumbler is whose on a shared desk, in a family car or at a picnic table. Who are these not for?

• Straws that aren't 10 mm or aren't straight. The fit is specific; a different width may slip off or not go on.
• Anyone who needs a spill-proof seal. These cover the tip only.
• Hot drinks. No temperature rating has been supplied for these covers, so we don't suggest them for hot beverages.
• Young children. No age or child-safety documentation has been supplied for these small silicone parts, so we don't list them for kids' use.

Cleaning and storage

Rinse each cover by hand and let it air dry completely before you put it back on the straw or in a drawer. Take the cover off when you wash the tumbler and straw, so water doesn't sit trapped under the flower. More small, useful accessories are in our home and everyday finds.
