Should you fill them with air or helium?

Both work, with one key difference: air-filled balloons do not float. Use air, from a hand or electric pump (not included), for garlands, wall clusters, floor decor and photo backdrops. Use helium only if you want balloons floating on ribbons.

Latex holds helium for a limited time, so fill floating balloons on party day; air-filled latex stays inflated much longer, which is why garlands are usually built with air. Can you build a balloon garland with them?

Yes, filled with air. Pair the balloons with a 50 ft balloon arch strip to hold them in place. As a rough rule of thumb, a full garland made only of 12 in balloons uses about 2 balloons per foot, so this pack covers about 12 to 15 ft. Which parties do they suit?

The royal blue, light blue and white mix is built for boys' birthdays, baby showers, gender reveals, ocean themes and any blue color scheme. Ribbon and styling tips

The 5 mm polypropylene ribbon resists snapping when you knot it, and it curls when you pull it firmly across a scissor blade. Cut tails about 3 ft long for floating bouquets; wall clusters need only short ties. Leftover ribbon is handy for wrapping gifts or tying favor bags.

Safety, and who should skip this set

The balloons are natural latex, so skip them if anyone attending has a latex allergy; foil balloons are the usual alternative. Keep uninflated balloons and popped pieces away from young children and pets, and have an adult supervise kids around balloons.
