This pumpkin hat is built on a headband: an orange felt pumpkin top with a green felt stem, green felt leaves and a curly green pipe-cleaner vine, mounted on an orange fabric-wrapped band. The whole piece measures 7.08 in (18 cm) tall and 7.5 in (19 cm) wide. It's one size for toddlers from 24 months, kids and adults, and it isn't size-adjustable.

Because the pumpkin perches on top instead of covering the head, it goes on faster than a full pumpkin hat and doesn't flatten your hairstyle. The top is flat-cut felt rather than stuffed, which keeps it light. Screen colors vary, so the orange may look slightly different in person.

Sizing: will the pumpkin headband fit?

It's made for toddlers 24 months and up, kids, women and other adults. It isn't for babies under 24 months, so if you were looking for a pumpkin hat for a baby, choose a soft hat made for that age instead. It's also not a full costume: you get one headband, and the outfits shown in photos aren't included.

Care and storage

The headband is hand wash only. If it needs cleaning, wash it gently in cool water, press out the water in a towel and air-dry it flat. If the vine loosens, wind it back around a pencil to restore the curl. Store the headband flat in a box so the stem and leaves stay upright.
